Mercedes and Marcelino, with her three children aged between 14 and 22 years old, two of them university students, living in his house surrounded by gardens and nature. His biggest hobby is football and dogs (have 3). His three-storey house, spacious and rustic décor features an open attic for students and / or tourists can stay. It has study table, corner TV and two beds (with possibility of some more). For the rest of the house, very spacious and bright rooms. It has three bathrooms and one for guests own. Located in a small village of about 600 inhabitants, very quiet, no party places but, yeah relaxing for picnicking and bike routes, etc..It is a 5 minute drive from Solares, a larger village with shops and entertainment area, a 20 minute drive from the capital, Santander (known for its famous Menéndez Pelayo International University, which taught summer courses) and 15 minutes from the beach area of Somo and Loredo. With train station a 5 minute walk from home, with hourly trains. Also, a 10 minute drive, we can find the famous Cabárceno Natural Park where you will find all kinds of animal wildlife. Two kilometrs, there is a public swimming pool

About the Area
Our house is in the village of Ceceñas, in a quiet neighborhood. With several neighbors living around us but no noise problem. A 5 minute drive, a town of greater extent, with all facilities (gym, swimming pool, supermarket, video store, bars, pubs ...) A 15 km from the capital, Santander, where you have a greater range is Solares facilities (trendy shops, variety of restaurants to choose from beaches, entertainment and nature ...). As Ceceñas, is surrounded by mountains, is a people composed with other villages around the valley. It trains every hour to move to other towns or even Santander.

Inside the house, no pets. Before inviting a stranger, ask. Looking to take some food in the house, I who prepare it, unless some heat. I do not allow smoking or eating in the room, eat in kitchen, and you can smoke in public areas. I hope the stay enjoyable

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
