Our home Pine Forest" is centrally located. From the Capital Colombo it just 4 ½ hours drive
Our home consists of a large dining area, pantry, 3 rooms, with 2 attached bathrooms and a common bathroom all fully tiled. We also have a separate unit which has a large room and a kitchen with a fireplace for cooking purposes. In the large garden we have an area for BBQ.
We have a bicycle which can be used by our guests. Transport can be provided.
My husband and I have one son who is married and living separately close to the sea beach.
I love cooking both western and Sri Lankan dishes so I bet you will have scrumptious and appetizing food and will taste the true Sri Lankan way of living and our warmth and generosity. We have a pet dog. We are non smokers but smoking is allowed in the garden.

About the Area
Pine Forest" is a solidly constructed, rustic but comfortable family home in the balmy mountains of Diyatalawa It is situated on a hill surrounded by Pine trees in an unpolluted environment. Centrally located, it is just a 5 minutes drive from Diyatalawa Railway Station and the bus station and a 10 minutes drive from Bandarawela. The famous Ella Gap is just 18 Km from here and so is Horton Plains which could be reached within 1/2 hour. The Capital Colombo it just 4 ½ hours drive and from the Airport it is 5 hours drive.

Meals

House Rules
Strangers are not allowed in to our home. A friend may be invited with prior permission but no overnight stay or late into the night. Always think that you are part of our family and enjoy your stay with us.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
