We have always been in love to live with nature. So we built our home the way we love it, in accordance with the surrounding environment. And that’s what we can offer you to experience. A relaxing stay among cool hilltops closer to the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka.

I am a Naturalist by profession and my wife is a housewife. Our two children are still in high school and are of ages 14 and 11. As much as we love to do gardening, reading and stay closer to the greenery around our home, we love spending time outside. My son, the youngest of two Venuka is a junior scout. My daughter Shakya enjoys playing Basketball and plays for her school.

You will get to enjoy my wife's coocking and the relax of the Kandyan Mountains. I have Mini Library which you are welcome to enjoy while your stay at my 'Nestle'

About the Area

Our house is located in a hilltop location with a view over a vast area and several mountain peaks. There are few houses closer to ours but it's not densly populated. There are several ways to get around. I will be honest here Public transportation (bus services) are not the top notch. They are pretty slower thats why. But the main road is only 5 minutes walk.
If you are using personal transportation its only 3 hours get to my home. From busses its about 4.30hrs. You can use the train to get to Peradeniya (which is the closest town) it;'s about a 3 hr train ride and in both case of public transportation I can arrange a pick-up. My Wife or I'd love to meet you at the town or railway station and we can take a Three-wheeler (literarly, Three-wheeled small petrol motor car a.k.a TukTuk) to home from there!
The legendary University of Peradeniya, the largest university in South Asia also known as "The Garden University" is located close by and we have to drive through there. The Royal Botanical Gardens is also located near by.
