ABOUT ISAAN
Thailand`s Isaan region has been occupied since at least 6,000 years ago, when hunter gathered tribes first migrated over the Phetchabun ranges from central Thailand, archaeological work at such sites as Ban Non. Wat in the Mun Valley in Khorat Nok Nok Tha
in Khon Kaen and Udon`s Ban Chiang has shown.
Only 30 minute drive to the Guest house by car from the airport
Often overlooked, Isaan is the largest and most authentic province of Thailand, untouched by mass tourism. Bordered by the Mekong, natural boundary with Laos and Cambodia, Isaan does not have many tourists’ infrastructure, English is not widely spoken, so the province has been preserved and the real attraction is its authenticity. With mostly farmlands and little towns, we invite you here to discover the Thai daily life in the countryside, its traditions, its food, some of the nicest National Parks and bucolic roads along the Mekong,
ABOUT US
My wife was born in Isaan and has spent most of her life living & working in Thailand. I have lived in Thailand for many years on and off, however I am now retired. So I`m here most of the time. I started the guesthouse after teaching English in Japan for several years. The Guest house is run by my wife and I. We enjoy showing others the wonders of Isaan. She has been to the UK a couple of times so she can speak English well.
The guest house also has a biker store, as I love to ride Motorcycles.
It is possible to rent a Twist and go small Automatic Motorcycle. Helmet provided free. We are very biker friendly and can cater for all types.
My wife can cook English food if it is required. But normally guests would like to try the local dishes.
Additional Info
We will be sharing the same house with the guests during their stays and provide a light breakfast if required.
