We are a friendly family and have a large house in Bournemouth. Bournemouth is a very cosmopolitan town with a beautiful sandy beach and lovely parks and gardens. We provide breakfast and a two course evening meal and we eat as a family. Also our rates include one load of laundry per week. We have 2 small dogs who are very friendly and love meeting people. I am a chef so you will get lots of freshly cooked food with plenty of vegetables. My husband David is a musician and we have a recording studio close to the house. There is an upstairs and a downstairs separate WC and a walk in shower. The house has a large lounge and one night per week we hold a cooking night and one night per week we hold a film night. We have a large garden where we have BBQ's when the weather is OK. We host students who can be from anywhere in the world so there is normally plenty of company and an opportunity to make new friends from a different country.

About the Area
We are located 150 metres from the bus stop to the town centre and the bus service is very frequent. We are 25 minutes by bus from the main rail station and coach station which has regular services to London and all other parts of the country. Bournemouth airport is 6 kilometres away and is served by Ryanair and many other airlines. It is a quiet area and mainly residential with a few local shops and a post office with an ATM.

A lovely couple with 2 lovely dogs. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Very welcoming and an enjoyable stay.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
