Thanks Homestay, it is because of your website I was able to meet a lovely couple, although I was a bit concerned after reviewing one particular bad review ( I guess that was the only one ) but as I was desperate to find a room, I decided to take a chance and booked. During my 4 weeks stay shela and here husband made me feel at home and were always helpful and were very concern about my job search. house is just minutes away from bus stop and the bus 73 runs from early in the morning till late at night. shops, restaurant only walking distance, house was clean and they even offered me a comfortable double room (although I booked a single). in short my overall experience was very good and on top of everything Mr Ali even dropped me to the Airport. Best of luck Ali family and don't get dis-heartened will little things.

I'm not satisfied about this experience. Unfortunately, the house is very far from Bristol, about 30 to 45 minutes of bus, more than 1 hour from the airport and it is not connected with public transports in the early morning or late evening. Therefore, you need to reserve a taxi if you have a fly or want to reach the city center in the early morning.
Furthermore, was not possible to have a meal in the kitchen because there isn't a table, the only one with the TV is in the living room, but this room is often occupied by the owners who live there. The bathroom was dirty, the shower is in common with owners and during the two weeks was never cleaned. The same situation with my room, where I leaved and ate for two weeks. Finally, if you decide to stay in this house, please consider another two things:
1- it is possible to wash your clothes only once time a week (included the owners towels) and they have not pegs to hang up clothes;
2- You need to pay all in advance without a receipt and, as the owner told me, if you do not like it you can go (without your money obviously)!
3- The single room is too small, there is a camp bed and is without a wardrobe;October 2016
I am so lucky have Shehla and her husband as a host. They are very friendly and genuine. Six days with them seems too short. I hope we can meet each other again.

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay with Shehla and her husband. They are both nice people who care about their guests. They gave us a lot of tips where to go and what to see. Lovely stay!

This was my first Homestay coupled with starting a new job. I could not have asked for more. Wonderful, kind, friendly and welcoming hosts who took an interest in what I was doing, how the job and my days had been which was great being some way from home and not knowing anyone. Highly reccomended!
See you soon :-)
