Large family home in west London, 20 mins taxi ride away from Heathrow airport. We have a spacious 5 bed house in Ickenham, its on the west side of greater London. Our home is a 10 minute walk to Ickenham tube station (for the Metropolitan & Piccadilly tube lines) and a 15 minute walk or a few mins bus ride to West Ruislip tube station (for the Central line), from both these stations you can get trains into Central London in 30 minutes. You can always visit nearby Uxbridge town centre which has 2 indoor shopping centres and an outdoor shopping centre along with a cinema and lots of bars and restaurants, if you don’t feel like going into Central London. We are also not too far from Brunel University.

Our location is in a beautiful family part of Greater London. It's a quiet area where you will feel safe. The people around are very friendly. A few mins walk from the house is a stretch full of cafes, restaurants, pub, chemist, beauty salons, supermarket and much more.

Par ou commencer ? La famille est gentille mise a part la proprietaire qui est tout le temps derriere vous elle ne vous laisse aucunes intimite a venir le soir tard dans votre chambre. Le menage n'est pas fais regulierement par exemple la salle de bain est tres salle. Vous devez etre que dans votre chambre donc c'est tres etouffant. Elle est toujours sur notre dos, par exemple pour faire a manger elle te regarde faire, elle viens sans cesse surveiller la poubelle dans la chambre. Sutout ne jamais la laisser faire vos machine car mes vetements sont sorti avec des enormes taches de couleurs. Nous sommes rester 1 mois et ce n'etait pas une bonne experience. Nous avons laisser de la nourriture dans le frigo est a plusieur reprise nous avons trouver nos produits vides. Ils sont enormement bruillant le matin il ne respecte pas le fais que les autres dorment. Nous avons retrouver nos affaires parfois deplacer, des choses disparus.Et nous ne pouvons pas faire ce que nous voulons dans la chambre par exemple elle controle meme le placement de nos affaires dans la chambre. Conclusion apres 1 mois je vous deconseille fortement cette hote.

Renu et Avinash sont absolument charmants et soucieux du bien être de leurs hôtes. Leur cuisine indienne est vraiment délicieuse! Très bonne ambiance. Mon fils, 12 ans a aimé jouer avec leur fils 10 ans, ce fut une motivation supplémentaire pour apprendre l'anglais ... Un peu loin du plein centre de Londres: 10 mn de marche pour la gare et ensuite direct jusqu'à Piccadilly circus, mais finalement pas vraiment génant au vue du très bon séjour passé. Nous reviendrons.

I'm not really staying there because too cold to stay there, I talked with the family, promised to get better, but couldn't see the change. I booked 7nights stay 1 night, fleeing to other places. from the host : "To future guests I would like to inform you that I have been hosting for over 11 years now and very successfully. I have hosted hundreds of guests from all over the world over this time. I have received many letters of thanks and cards etc from very happy guests. I have 2 children who live with me and so our house is warm when it has to be. We have had many, many guests tell us how lovely our family is, you need to come and stay with us to know. If you have hundreds of guest come through you home you try to make everyone of them happy but sometimes you can’t please all no matter what you do. I am very house proud as I love my home which is extremely comfortable and extremely clean. We look forward to hosting you. Renu"

Fair for the price for poor students who can tolerate an inadequate environment. Overall disappointing no descent shower, no hot water available during the cold winter even worse the heater to be switched off in the middle of the night until rather late in the morning. No point stay there for the price if you can afford enough to stay somewhere else( £40)because you have to take into account the commuting fees and extra costs of around £15/night or more to satisfy your basic needs. Freezing !!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
