Hi, I am Robin. I am a nurse that works locally and I share my home with my young son who is very well behaved and sociable. Our semi-detached home is on a new and quiet development on the outskirts of Ashford and boasts a dedicated parking space for guests and a comfortable single bedroom with its own bathroom and toilet.
There is a good sized back garden which is nice to sit out in on warm days and our home has the luxury of being in walking distance of beautiful countryside that stretches for miles. There are excellent transport links locally, and we have the benefit of only being a 5 minute drive away from Ashford International Station and a 20 minute drive away from the Euro Tunnel Terminal to the continent. I am more than happy to facilitate journeys outside of Ashford, including airport pick ups and drop offs when and if I am able for an additional fee that would be very competitive with local taxi firms.
We are happy to open our home to you and you will have use of our lounge and kitchen. We are also happy to share our home Wi-Fi with you which is on the ultra-fast fibre network so can easily stream online movies to mobile devices.
Both of us love meeting new people and learning about languages and different cultures. I can speak basic French (conversational level) and know a little bit of German.

About the Area
Our home is on the outskirts of Ashford with excellent transport links both local and to London and the continent. The beach is a 15-20 minute drive away.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Our home is your home for the duration of your stay and we want you to feel truly comfortable, however, we respectfully ask that you abide by the following:
- No bringing other guests to the home without prior arrangement or in my absence.
- My room and my son's room are entirely out of bounds at all times without exception.
- The landline phone is not to be used without my consent - any calls made without consent will incur a charge.
- No smoking in the property including the garden areas.
- The Wi-Fi is not to be used for illicit/illegal purposes and adult content is not to be streamed or accessed at any time.
Any violation of these few rules will result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.
These "rules" we hope are fair and not unreasonable and hopefully will never pose a problem to you during your stay.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
