About the Area
Only 6km and 15 minutes by train from Liverpool City centre and you are in “Another Place” and “The Titanic Town” of Crosby, which has many local people linked to The Titanic.
An area of outstanding natural beauty, with great services and transport links, yet so close to Liverpool city centre.
A 10 minute walk from our house to the beach and you can see “Another Place” an artwork by Anthony Gormely consisting of 100 iron statues, all looking out to sea, spread along our 3km beach and dunes.
Next to this is Crosby Coastal park with a water sports centre, adventure activities, fitness suite, lakeside restaurant and bar on the edge of 70 acre lake.
Walk along the beach to our modern leisure centre, with 25m swimming pool, gym, spar and café etc.
Continue walking along the beach and you come to West Lancashire Golf Club, the third oldest in Britain. Royal Birkdale Golf Club voted Number 1 in Britain is only 20 minutes by train.
A 5 minute walk and there is a great local choice of international restaurants and live music bars, including our local pub, fish and chip shop , and the famous “Plaza” community cinema which is staffed by a great team of volunteers.
We love our community and what it has to offer, we are sure you will too.
Crosby, a great location but with great attractions and entertainment so close to the centre of Liverpool

We've really enjoyed our stay with Alan and Jan. They were very friendly and helpful and have taken much effort to feel us at home. We also loved Liverpool and Crosby.

Alan and Jan were the best first Homestay experience for us. And their hospitality and home were all they were presented to be on the website and reviews. Made our weekend in Liverpool so much easier. Thanks. Would go back without doubt.

With hugs and kisses

they were a great people and kind.
i would love to stay with them longer.September 2016
Alan & Jan were fantastic hosts. They were always easy to contact prior to and during our stay, and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. After our arrival they kindly helped us plan our itinerary for our short time in Liverpool, offering up a wealth of local knowledge, plus maps and taxi numbers, and as much tea, coffee & biscuits as we could handle! Their love of Liverpool is infections.
They have a beautiful and spotlessly clean home, with beds that were very comfortable, and a great walk in shower on the ground floor. The local area is nice and quiet, with a good number of local restaurants a 10 min walk away, as are the 2 train stations and bus stops just at the end of road.
I would recommend them as hosts without a doubt, and would happily stay here again.September 2016
I stayed there for 4 nights and it was very nice. I wish I had the chance too stay longer. Very comfortable bed, easily fits two and since it was only me I had plenty of room to stretch out. The bathroom was modern and had ample storage. The living room space was cozy. The couple, Alan and Jan, were very kind and offered help with places to visit and recommended many great restaurants. I would recommended them and Id love to come back someday.

3 of us were on a Golfing trip to West Lancs Golf Club, and I have to say we were overwhelmed by the kindness and attention we were given. Clean rooms great bathroom/shower. I don't think hotels can compete with the individual attention we got, well done to you both wouldn't hesitate but to stay again.

Alan & Jan are the most lovely couple you could come across. From the moment the door opens they make you feel right at home. The location is great, very close to the Bus stop and train station. There is even a quaint local community cinema and a large number of restaurants and takeaways within 15 min walking. On advice from Alan and Jan we travelled the short journey to Southport on the X2 bus the next day. So very glad we did it's a lovely coastal Victorian town with the second longest pier in Britain.
Jan has a green thumb and enjoys her garden. Alan has a wealth of local knowledge right down to the Bus timetables. The well kept garden has seating and a table for those sunny morning breakfasts
and afternoon coffee's. The room is large with a robe and desk. There are numerous power outlets for charging. The bathroom is private and newly renovated.Highly recommended place to stay.
We are looking forward to out next trip.
