August 2018
Generally, Mohibur's house is civil and comfortable to live in. However the lack of general bathroom hygiene, a dryer for laundry and sometimes even a lack of peace and quiet leave me wishing I chose a better option for my long term stay.
March 2018
Unfortunatelly I cant recommend Mohibur’s place. The house/room is simply inadequate to host guests. I cut my stay short.
October 2017
Mohibur and his wife were very nice and friendly since day 1! The location of the house is really great too as they were close to lots of shops and restaurants.
August 2017
Leider war weder mein Zimmer noch das Bad abschließbar. Die Wanne/Dusche war nicht zu benutzen.
Ich war sehr enttäuscht.July 2017
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
November 2016
This was my second stay with Mohibur and his wife. As previously, my stay at Mohibur's house was very pleasant and comfortable:
-Nice and friendly people who let you get on and who respect your privacy.
-Always asked if everything is ok.
-Delicious and varied Indian food for dinner, often even with a dessert; various cereals and, occasionally, pancakes are offered for breakfast.
-Convenient location, close to public transport (bus station), shops (Tesco, small cafés etc.) and the Oxford city centre (with bus about 10-15 minutes, on foot about 20-25 minutes).
-Strong shower (was even fixed after I notified Mohibur's wife about problems with the shower).
-Electric heater was available on request (should it be cold in the room).
However, other reviewers here were also right that the Internet connection could be improved: At certain spots in the room and during certain times in the day, the connection was often weaker (though the connectivity problems never lasted for more than 10-15 minutes).
September 2016
Mohibur is very helpful and committed person.
August 2016
Staying in Mohibur's house for 16 days in the August 2016...
Location: 4 (stars out of five).
It takes only around 15 minutes by bus or 25 minutes on foot to go to high street.Room: 4 (stars out of five).
The room is comfortable and spacial.Facilities: 3 (stars out of five)
Good wifi connection.
There is no television in the room which is not consistent with what stated in the description passage;
Garden is not accessible
Beverage: 3.5 (stars out of five)
You could have a delicious indian dinner with dessert prepared with heart for 5 ponds per meal.
Light breakfast includes cereals and milk. I suggest reminding them if it is not prepared.Quietness:3.5 (stars out of five)
Generally at daytime, it is very quiet. However, some of the nights, noises come from the rooms on the upper floors with conversations and walking noise which could be loudly heard at 2:00am at deep night.Other opinion:
The brother of Mohibur's wife and another tenant are also staying in the house which is not what stated in the description passage as only he, his wife and mother-in-law. They seems very busy so that you may not expect having interaction with them, but it is totally acceptable. Conclusion:
It is a satisfactory experience to stay in the room and considering the location, the charge and the room, it is a splendid. For the room description, I think they might just be too busy so that they haven't updated it yet.June 2016
-Big, spacious and clean room.
-Good location; near shops, public transport and city centre.
-Delicious and substantial meals.January 2016
wifi need to be improved
