We live in Crown Hill, Plymouth and have lived in our home for the past 12 years. We are in our mid 50's but young at heart and enjoy hosting students.
We have been hosting students for the last 7 years and have had lots of students from lots of different countries stay with us.
We have two dogs (whippets) who are gentle and sweet and stay at my side most of the time. They love taking walks with students. They are one of the cleanest breeds and very little shedding if any. So no problem there.
Cliff works as a team leader and has been there for over 30 years and I am no longer working but worked in admin for a number of years. I wanted to stay at home so looking after students has allowed me to do that. Also, I get to play mom again as my kids live in America. I'm American by the way and have lived in England since 2001.
Cliff loves to watch sports and plays golf he use to play rugby for a team but not anymore. I read, watch movies and love to be with my pets. We enjoy going to the cinema, bowling, and relating to our students. Oh and going out to eat!

About the Area
Not far from city center , we have easy access to buses, shops, restaurants , doctors and hospital, quiet area Located about 3 miles from city center .
Bus stops to city center are no more than 50 feet from house some closer. Crown Hill has restaurants, a bank, doctors offices, dentist offices, shops, etc.
There is a park down the road from us nice to take walks in and play sports. There are tennis courts near by and they play soccer close by.
Nice area with grass, trees, not a busy area and little traffic. I don't know what else to say really just a nice quiet neighborhood.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
