My husband jeff and i live in a bungalow in winterbourne stoke ,our street is a cul-de-sac. We live opposite a 1,000 yearold church called St Peters and are surrounded by countryside where there are plenty of walks. We have stonehenge about 10 mins drive from our bungalow also the great city of salisbury about 20mins away with it's great markets which happen every tuesday and saturday and the 29th november the christmas markets will be on for about one month. . The bungalow we live in has 4 bedrooms we will be letting 2 of our double bedrooms both with king size beds and one family bathroom (we have our own bathroom) .jeff and i are both retired, we have 2 boys both left home with their own families. our youngest lives in new zealand. jeff loves country sports he used to be a falconer and i love cooking cakes, pies , any sort of food i used to own a cafe before i retired. it was our dream to live in the country and now we are and it is great. We used to have dogs and cats and ferretts , but sadly they have all gone now . But we still like our walks when we are not busy in the garden. We have a great garden to sit in weather permitting and anybody is more than welcome to do so.

We couldn't not have chosen a better place to stay! In fact, we decided to stay longer than had originally planned. This lovely couple made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were so kind and helpful all the time.
We especially loved our talks and the nice breakfasts, watching the birds.
Our bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and, of course, the environment was perfect for us (nature, ancient history remains, good pubs nearby...)
Highly recommended!!

Being welcomed in a very nice and warm-hearted way, we (old and young) felt home suddenly.

We stayed one night in Gwen’s house as a well needed stop over in a long journey. The welcome was wonderful and she was excellent with our children. A warm welcome await anyone who visits, even a short one night stay. Highly recommended.

I felt at home from the moment I arrived, the accommodation was spotless and the facilities were perfect for what I needed from a stay. Gwen and Jeff were very kind and helpful and had a range of local knowledge and a lovely garden which guests can sit out in. There was a range of breakfast options to choose from.

Gwen and Geoff live in a beautiful secluded spot, quiet and away from traffic. They are wonderful and friendly hosts. The rooms are spotless, everything is clean and beautifully prepared. Gwen's breakfast was exceptional, fruit salad, cereal, cooked menu, tea, coffee, all perfect. Guests' facilities and parking. We hope to stay again when next in this area. Heartily recommended.

Gwen and Jef are very friendly and helpfull nice hosts. They really make you feel at home.
The house is very clean. We had out own bathroom and we could use the room at the front of our own, sitting in the sun overlooking the beautiful church. The breadfast was very nice, the coffee very good .
We slept like a log because of the comfortabele bed which has a very good matras.
We can recomment a stay with them very much!

A wonderful welcome awaits, very much home from home. An early start prevented us from enjoying the hospitality more. We recommend to everyone wishing to explore this part of Wiltshire, especially Stonehenge.
