Kate (and her sons) were wonderful hosts. Communication was great before and during my stay. Since the family would be away on my first morning in their home, Kate inquired about and provided food for breakfast. Access to the house was great. I felt like I was at home and could come and go as needed. The little attic room was lovely!! All I needed and more. A comfortable bed, desk space to work, a place to hang/put my clothes, a kettle for tea with tea bags/coffee/cream/sugar, a comfortable chair, and great lighting, whether natural or electric. There was a TV, although I did not use it. The room, located at the top of the house, gave me the privacy needed for my tasks, and use of the the shared bathroom with the family worked well. The house was orderly, clean and welcoming. I enjoyed conversation with Kate and living with the family a few days. Access to the house by public transport was good. About 20-25 minute walk to the train station. Bus stops right outside the house (although I did not use them). I would recommend Kate as a host. Thank you Kate for your hospitality!
