We are a family of two, father and son, living in a green part of Manchester.
We have a female flatmate and wish to (preferaby) invite females if you wish to stay for longer, as a house crowded with males can get too rowdy from past experience.
We are the proud owners of a beautiful home in the sub-urbs that once belonged to an entire family who arrived in England in 1999. The home is situated 15 minutes away from Manchester Airport by foot and very close to various transport links to the city centre and the airport. The town centre is 10 minutes away by foot where you may find a local market, gym, swimming and shopping outlets.
We both have professional occupations and a former circus background. Though we are originally from Moldova and speak in Russian and/or Romanian, we have fully integrated into British society, hold British citizenship and are open to embrace traditional British culture. In fact the area is a great representation of modern British life, especially in the North of England. We are also fortunate enough to live in one of the greenest areas of Manchester with plenty of National Parks around.
We are offering a recently renovated attic on the third floor or a single room on the second floor. The house can get cold in the winter even with central heating, so we do encourage you to come prepared.
***We are a friendly bunch and ask no more than to respect the roof and the people that live under it. We are busy people and cannot spend time around at the coffee table during the day (though why would you when there is plenty to see and do!). We will gladly spend time with you in the late afternoon/evenings if you wish, we're not THAt anti-social!***

About the Area
We are located south of the city, 15 minutes away from Manchester Airport and an hour away from the city centre by bus.
The bus can be caught rigt outside the house that takes you directly to the airport or city centre. The nearest tram stop to the city centre or airport is five minutes away by foot.
A local town centre is 5-10 minutes away by foot.
The area is generally quiet, plenty of trees and plenty of greenery. The airport itself is an attraction, with the Airport Pub and Runway Park not too far off. Manchester is a very unique city with its very own character the closer you get to the centre.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
