Private bedroom and shared bathroom (with one other guest) in shared housing. "Ohana" is Hawaiian and means "family". This home is a 2000 sq ft split-level, 3 BR, 2.5 BA residential home. Primary Owner/Occupant (my mother-in-law) is retired dental assistant who has her own private bedroom and en suite bathroom. Shared Kitchen, Dining, Living Room (upper level) and Laundry (lower level).

About the Area
Our house is west-facing and located at the beginning of a safe and quiet cul de sac. We are approximately 2 miles from the nearest hospitals and a 5 minute walk to the closest bus stop.

House Rules
HOUSE RULES. The Roommates agree to the following house rules: (check applicable and complete below)
- Smoking/Alcohol/Drugs. Not Allowed (Except Beer/Wine)
- Parking. (one additional car permitted in driveway, owner needs egress from garage)
- Overnight Guests. Not allowed without prior written permission
- Quiet Hours. 10:00 pm – 8:00 am (per Anchorage Municipality ordinance)
- Pets. No pets allowed
HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES. To be provided by landlord and restocked every 3 months (90 days). The supplies may include, but not limited to, such items as paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning fluids, dish detergent, foil, plastic trash bags, scrub brushes, and any other goods needed for the Premises which will be shared by all the Roommates. If supplies are exhausted prior to restocking in 3 months, then it is the responsibility of the roommates to restock and split expenses equally.

PERSONAL PROPERTY. All the Roommates agree to not use or borrow other Roommates’ personal items without the approval of the Roommate who owns the property. Any exception(s) to this rule will be clearly stated and agreed upon, and the Roommate who owns the property retains the right to change their mind about sharing their personal property. Any personal property that is borrowed should be used respectfully and returned in the same condition. If any damage is done to a Roommate’s personal property, the Roommate(s) responsible for causing the damage will compensate the Roommate who owns the personal property for their loss.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
