Since the center is situated at an elevation of 1400 feet there is minimal humidity and not many insects. The Center boasts beautiful views of the surrounding countryside therefore providing a peaceful environment. The Center is “off the grid” which means we generate our own solar power and water heating in addition to having our own water supply.
The Celestial Sanctum is a place to relax and enjoy being in the present moment. Have a nice organic breakfast you make in the guest kitchen area and sit around the pool and relax. Stay around for the daily meditation and the Yoga & Qi Gong classes or take off and explore The Big Island. Private rooms, most with their own bathroom. Take a walk around the grounds or enjoy the Shiatsu massage chair.
Our guests are welcome to the Main Room where you can mingle with the other travelers or sit back and read a book from our library. You can use the three-person sauna or take a swim in the pool. We have a computer room you can access if you want to check your emails. Wi-Fi Internet access for those who want it. Feel free to sit out on the wrap-around Lanai and enjoy the view of Nature. If you look for pure nature, quietness, a really beautiful and high energetic spot with the most lovely hosts ever, then you will be right here at Rick's and Katie Joy's home! Of course you need a car to get there, but anyway if you really wanna enjoy Big Island you should rent a car. We booked the biggest room, because we wanted to have more space and separate beds. It is a room with lots of space, a fridge, a place to sit (Couch and table), an extra wardrobe room and an own bathroom with shower. It is safe and protected. You also have a pool and chairs and tables to sit outside. We didn't miss anything at this amazing place. There is so much love and details for each and every day and my friend and I stayed for two weeks there!
Thank you so very much for making my first stay in Big Island/ Hawaii to one of the most wonderful experiences ever. We can't find anything else than honestly nice words about these amazing people and their home! We want and will come back, that is for sure <3 Best, heartfelt wishes and many blessings for both of you - Rick and Katie Joy, may you just continue to be the wonderful persons that you are, enriching the stay in Big Island for many more people and just receiving the best. Deeply grateful - the olioli sisters :) Sandra and Miriam
