I have a small three bedroom ranch home, with a couch in the living room for one person. You have access to a shared bathroom and the kitchen. There is plenty of free street parking in front of my house. I have two small dogs that love visitors. My home is a non-smoking home and I only host tourists that are non-smokers. I have a large fenced back yard. I sometimes host tourists with a small dog for an extra $5.00/night. You must have a crate for your dog. I accept one male guest at a time and for a minimum of thirty days and a maximum of sixty days. Sometimes, when I do not have a roommate, I have a bedroom available for a monthly rate. Laundry is an extra $4/load.

About the Area
My house is in a quiet neighborhood. I am five minutes from the Legends and Nascar race track. I am fifteen minutes to Sprint Center, Kansas City Convention Center/Bartle Hall and Kaufman Center for Performing Arts, 20-25 minutes to Union Station, Science Center, Nelson-Atkins Museum, Kemper Art Gallary, World One Museum/Liberty Memorial, and the Plaza. There is some bus service to my area, but a rental car is usually your best option.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
I accept non-smokers only. If you arrive smelling like smoke, you will not be allowed entrance and there will be no refund. No smoking includes no cigarettes, cigars, pipes, marijuana, vapor pipes, or any other substance that involves burning. If you normally smoke, you should not request to stay here. You must clean up after yourself in bathroom & kitchen or pay a cleaning fee. Access to house is generally from 9 pm to 8 am. You can not come and go 24/7. This is not a hotel. You are not allowed to invite other visitors to my home without prior permission. I do not drink alcoholic products and do not have any here. I do not object to you bringing a bottle of light alcohol, provided you do not get drunk. If you become intoxicated, you will have to leave and will not get a refund. If you do not love dogs, then do not request to stay here. If you use the TV or play music during the overnight hours, please use headphones.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
