House Rules
House Guidelines & Regulations For Tenants
No smoking in or around the house or on the property.
Please make sure the front door is locked & closed all the way when you are leaving the premises. Make sure your windows, & blinds are closed also.
Please make sure lights are turned off in Hall way, Bathroom, Bedroom & Kitchen & Back porch etc. when those areas are not in use.
It’s OK to leave on or turn on the front porch light & entry hall light on at night.
Clean up after yourself. Try to keep your room as clean as possible.
No perishable food or drinks left in rooms.
No Parties with excessive drinking & loud music etc. This is not a party house.
Any get togethers or special events (like, a meeting, dinner, study night, special event or BBQ etc.) with 2 or more guests are OK, but need to be requested & approved in advance to make sure it doesn’t conflict with any other roommates’ plans, illness, house maintenance, events or privacy etc. No excessively loud music in the house. No loud talking or making loud intentional noise or playing music after Midnight & until around 8-9AM. Respect other’s need for sleep.
Visiting Guests should be out of house preferably by around 11 PM In order to respect the other roommate’s privacy, need for sleep & the need for a comfortable living atmosphere etc. Each tenant is considered a single resident. Therefore: Overnight guests need to be requested & approved by Steve in advance. No male overnight guests for ladies & No male guests hanging out in ladies’ bedroom. Its OK to have a male visitor, but please meet in the shared spaces, which includes the living room, kitchen, the outside patio, or on the property.
These guidelines are here, in part, to help avoid potential conflicts in our schedules, conflicts with other home gatherings, privacy issues and to help avoid potential surprises or awkward situations with other tenants. Please respect the other roommates need for privacy, need for sleep & need for a comfortable living atmosphere etc. Thank you for your understanding & cooperation with these guidelines.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
