We have a nice, clean, cute home in Spring, Texas. We have 2 poodles, we both work from home. Grace is an accountant for Univ. of Houston Downtown Campus and I work by day as an IT Manager, at night I'm usually in my recording studio. With Covid always, and unfortunately being a concern we prefer anyone staying with us to have been vaccinated and have their own means of transportation. We're drug and smoking free and expect the same.
We're otherwise pretty laid back and friendly.

About the Area

Our home is central to most things in the Houston area, but far enough away from downtown Houston in a nice, safe and quiet, very green area called North Spring. Bus stops are in very short walking distance. In our area, at the grocery store they know who you are, people always smile and say hello, our neighbors are friendly, in fact on weekends we sometimes all bbq together. In our area the birds all have colors, and as the seasons go, so do the trees. Colleges and Universities are close and here at home we encourage interaction and prefer the "family" type of environment so we try to provide it. We've hosted before when we lived in California and in fact, one student who lived with us calls us Mom and Dad even to this day, 8 years later.

House Rules

first of all, there's always food in the kitchen, however anything you want in particular you'll need to provide for yourself. We eat dinner together at 6pm most days, eat breakfast together on the weekends and you are ALWAYS invited to eat with us. If you choose not to you'll need to fix meals for yourself. Room cleanliness is of utmost importance and we expect it. If you smoke, do it outside of the house, not in the house. You're always welcome to use the laundry as long as you coordinate with the lady of the house. If you are of legal age and happen to drink beer or wine, as do we, we expect that you are responsible about it. Guests cannot stay in your room with you overnight unless it is discussed with us before hand, and cannot be in your room past 8pm. Sometimes we entertain guests and of course if you bring a guest to a BBQ or gathering here, they can stay the same amount of time our guests stay. (we're actually really cool people) We realize that certain situations may arise and those can always be discussed. Respect and courtesy, appreciation, trust and honesty are REQUIRED. And you have to like music!!

Smoking Rules

Your host is a non-smoker.

Smoking is not allowed.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
