Our stay with kalpana and her family was very enjoyable, kalpana was always around to answer our questions and did her very best to make sure we had all we needed. We took part in one of Kalpana’s yoga classes and for a true beginner she gave great onsite into the yoga practice, take a morning class you won’t regret it. We felt welcomed into her home.

The area around Kalpana’s home is very friendly and welcoming. Check out the Chillout bar when you go! Lots of places to dine and relax. Kalpana will help to organise all of your needs from booking train tickets to a day tour with one of the local companies to visit places of interest.

Our stay was during the Holi festival, what a joy to be a part of everywhere we went we were welcomed.... it is a must do thing that should be on your list.

We are very grateful to kalpana and the surrounding people of Jaipur for giving us a life time of memories that we will be sharing with our friends, families and wider communities.

My father and I had a wonderful stay at Kalpana's Homestay. We were in adjoining rooms on the Terrace -- spacious, spotlessly clean and perfectly comfortable. We ate the expanded (Indian) breakfast every morning, as well as dinner one evening -- delicious! And I especially enjoyed the morning yoga opportunities. The location is very good -- a longish (but doable) walk from the Old City, and loads of tuks-tuks available along the way if you don't want to walk. A quiet neighborhood, but near more bustling streets, and several good restaurants in close proximity. Thankful for such a wonderful homestay experience for our last stop in India!

It was a privilege to have the opportunity to meet Kalpana and Pradeep and to stay in their lovely home. The property is beautiful and our large, well-appointed and comfortable room opened onto the spacious upstairs terrace.

They were warm and welcoming hosts who were quickly forthcoming with advice and recommendations to make the most of our limited time in Jaipur. Nothing was too much trouble. The home-cooked food is wonderful but they also encouraged us to experience dining elsewhere locally.

We would love to return.

For anyone visiting Jaipur and looking for a traditional Indian experience then the Kalpana Home stay is perfect.
A lovely house situated in a perfect location with wonderful hosts.
Should you eat here then the food is also wonderful and great value for money.
Nothing is to much trouble.
Also they can arrange a guide who is a friend of the family should you wish to go site seeing.
I fully recommend you stay here as I intend to return next year.
