Cannot recommend this home, everywhere needed a good clean, carpets needed vacuuming especially under the bed where we found a cake left by a previous tenant. Bed linen had not felt an iron in a long time. TV worked on one channel only. Bathroom floor tiles broken. Kitchen sticky, grubby and cluttered.
Came away covered in flea bites, when I dared to mention this we were given some reimbursement and told to go find a hotel! Room certainly does not match photos in preview.房主回复
Funnily enough this Is the first adverse review we have ever had in almost 3 years of hosting. This couple booked for 6nights. Having spent 5 nights with us they then decided there were fleas. We of course reimbursed them and suggested that they should leave while we investigated. They didn't show us any of the alleged fleas or bites and the couple that stayed the following day (after we had deep cleaned and fumigated the room just in case) were very happy, as have been all our guests. They left having enjoyed 6 nights free accommodation . Hmm! Hosts beware!

Spent 2 nights in Bristol. Sarah and James were wonderful, really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was really clean with a comfortable bed, after using homestay i wont book another hotel room in the future.

I spent a beautiful time in the Jim&Sarah 's Home. I was welcome very well as a Family member. Everyone were available, lovely, careful with me and welcomed also my partner in the same way. They always helped me when I asked them, in every context.
The room and every spiace of the house for me were very nice and confortable! I could cook like I prefer, my italian dishes or I could have a tipical english dinner with them!
Thank Steve, Jim, Sarah, Floss, Eve and Lucy for your available! we wish go back soon!

We had a great time with James and his Family. All of them welcomed us as old friends and maybe more, as Family members! The room was beautiful and clean, the bathroom was big and with a huge shower, the food we had at home with James and his Family was 5 star! We really felt at home and we wish to go back soon! Giulio

Hello everyone!
I spent only a week with this wonderful big family but it was a great time !
They all are very friendly and sweet persons and their two twins Eve and Lucy are so adorable. Sarah, Jim and Steve gave me a lot of advises for my new life here in Bristol and Flossie is a fantastic chef, she cooked for me delicious dinners :)
My room was a big one furnished with all comfort and the own bathroom was a big deal! The house is near to the city center, I usually walked but the bus stop is very close to the house and in 10 minutes you can arrive in the centre.
I really recommend this family to everyone.四月 2015
Hello everybody.
I spent a very good time with this wonderful family, but, the worst thing in my staying here is that I stay only for two weeks :)
I had a big double room, very confortable and full furnished and my own bathroom with shower.
I enjoyed meal with them and I spent my free time in nice conversation and cultural exchange.
Sarah, Jim, Steve and Flossie are very kind gentle and sociable. Steve is epic and funny and the two babies Eve and Lucy are adorable.
The bus stop is near the house and you can reach the city centre in 15 minutes.
I recommend this family to all, I spent a very good time and I was very sad when I leave them.
