I was surprised by receiving a request, as I was not aware that my listing was not paused anymore. The listing had not been acutalized since 2018, so I had no chance to actualize price and conditions. I accepted Alex and he was lucky to receive at a very low price a nice room, exclusive bathroom with posibility to cook and wash, what you get only by renting an whole apartment. I also offered bike, helmet and lock for free, what I will charge in the future.
He was a very educated person. Only the cleaning I expected on the same condition I had offered. It was a nice experience, but I would not repeat it as I need to cover my expenses and be recompensed for my work, time and help inverted. I do not want to clean after the guest leaves. How is the policy at homestay in this aspect? Can I charge for cleaning in the future?
