  I have been hosting full-time for many year and I am very proud to say with glowing reviews. I don’t think Aryss understands the word or the concept of “Homestay “. Upon arrival I showed him around my house and introduced him to the other three male guests, as well as my husband and then onto his room. Aris stated that my house was just “OK “. I take exception to that because I literally have just finished renovating my house to the tune of $85,000 . I have had other guests come to my home and they all said “how gorgeous or how beautiful “then he implied my house was not clean. I am retired so I am home all day, cleaning, and tidying up after everyone, Aryss every day left a mess in the shared bathroom. We all understand We must clean up after ourselves in order to leave the house clean for the next person. Aryss did not understand this concept. I think he thought my home should be a restaurant or a hotel. I offered him a beautiful breakfast every morning which consisted of quiche, banana, bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice, and coffee or tea which he proceeded to throw in the garbage until I spoke to him about the waste of food. He said “no breakfast thank you “as far as any other meals go, he was on his own. I had already advised him not to use my stove. As per my house insurance company. He could use the microwave, air fryer, griddle, rice, cooker, and vegetable steamer. This all seems to work for my other long-term guests that are all booked for two years in my house. Now that it is November I give all my guests two quilts for their bed which has nothing to do with my heating system in my house. Which works perfectly fine! I also have to point out that Aris was not in sync with the rest of the world. Most nights he would stay up till 6 AM in the morning and then sleep all day till approximately 4 PM in the afternoon, so that is why he complained about the neighbours in my back carport Coming and going. I could go on disputing all these ridiculous comments of his but I won’t. If my Homestay was really as bad as he claims then why did he ask if he could stay longer? I didn’t want him here for another day longer.So I wish him luck…. Somewhere else !
