I had an wonderful 3 time at Ashish's place - he waited for me arriving at his house early in the morning and always treated me as a part of his family member during my stay. Ashish, his wife, his son and his aunty are the people whom you want to be surrounded by in your life. My trip to Great rann of Kutch & Nirona village was amazing too. It was my first trip to Amritsar and also as a single female traveler, I enjoyed my stay in deed at Amrit & Harpreet's place during my stay for 7 nights. I visited there from the end of Oct till the beginning of Nov, which was the best season too. I loved their cooking - 3 meals a day and great chai too. The house is located in pretty convenient area, which is near Celebration mall, so easy to take transportation and return home too. They helped me giving good advice/tips on sightseeing and shopping, also arranging a trip to Wagah boarder with a travel agent. We even prepared some foods and distributed to homeless people together, which I did not expect I would be doing that with my host-family before coming to Amritsar and it was a special experience for me.
