I stayed with my friend on our first night in Havana and Cuba at Clara Zaida's place. We were looked after very well by Maro and Aida, her son and daughter in law, who made us feel immediately at home. On arrival we were offered a welcome cold drink and they offered a homemade seafood lunch at a very reasonable price. The place was clean and comfortable and Maro and Aida drove us into the old city of Havana and personally gave us a personal tour of their city over the afternoon which was fantastic. Thanks for making it a great visit

A friend and I stayed at Manuel Alejandro's place for 3 nights. Manuel surprised us by personally meeting our bus in Trinidad which was very helpful. The place was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony off our room. Manuel's son organised the hire of a couple of bikes at a very reasonable price and we had a very good visit at Manuel's place.

My friend and I stayed with Marvelys and her sister Merci for 3 nights in late February. It is a wonderful place to stay, very clean and quiet, a comfortable retreat which is in the heart of central Havana. The place looks exactly as it does in the photos and the sisters are helpful, could not be more helpful and give the place a great sense of dignity.
