Natalie is polite and was very responsive when I made my booking and leading up to my arrival. Her daughter is charming and also polite and we had a few nice chats. This was a nice calm home on a quiet street. I would recommend this homestay to someone independent who enjoys space and privacy. I stayed in the room on the 2nd floor (3rd floor for my US friends :)). This was an attic room with a W.C. right next door the shower being down one flight of stairs. The room has a twin bed and an armoire with shelves and hangers for clothes as well as a desk and a skylight that can be opened. On a hot day it could get a little warm up there - so would recommend bringing a fan if you'll be there for a long stay in summertime. And if you like your electronics perhaps a multi-outlet adapter since there is only one outlet in the room. Though it is listed as non-smoking I do believe one of the other boarders was smoking in her room - this wasn't too much of a problem for me as there was usually a good breeze through the window in my room - but for someone with allergies, asthma or who is exceptionally sensitive to smoke it wouldn't be ideal. I was in town to attend a class at Art University Bournemouth on the Bournemouth campus and when I wasn't running late it was a lovely 30 minute walk to class. There are plenty of stores within 10 minutes walk. And at either end of the street two "main drags" with restaurants and shops.
