  We definitely had a 5-Star experience with Sergei. He came to Kenya to see how we are protecting our wildlife and he liked our location because we are near the world-famous David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust sanctuary for orphaned baby elephants.
  When I met him and realized how hungry he was for African wildlife, I took him (together with a German girl – Katarina - also staying with us) for a morning game drive on the second day (Sunday June 25) in Nairobi National Park (NNP). The result was that he got hungrier for more - especially because we have no elephants in NNP.
  In the evening we all agreed that seeing the orphans will not be enough. It would only whet his appetite for more. So, we organized a tour operator to take them both to Amboseli National Park, where we have the highest concentration of elephants in Kenya. They saw a lot of wildlife, including more than 150 elephants. Sergei was now a very happy man as he visited the orphans on his last day before going back to Russia on Tuesday.
  Beyond his love for elephants, Sergei is a very kind, energetic (an athlete also) and happy young man. He even brought us presents from Russia - a very beautiful matroschka for Ann - already with a pride of place in our house - and a mind game.
  Sergei is so informed about all subjects, from history to space, we could not imagine any institution teaching that much. So, we learnt a lot from him. He was our first ever Russian guest. He promised to come again and send more Russians our way. Welcome him with both arms if he visits you.
