I stayed for a couple of days and I cannot say enough good things about my stay. I received a warm welcome with friendly smiles from Dararat and her family. Her food is delicious and she also made me a snack/packed lunch while I was out and about on their motorbike. I really felt looked after in every way, help and support with finding local places, the culture, and it felt like I was looked after like ‘family’. The location is local and also within walking distance to tourist places like Chalong Bay, where I joined a boat tour to visit the islands (Phi Phi). On another day, I saw the beautiful sunrise at Chalong Bay. The room itself is like pictured, it has airconditioning and is spacious, clean, with a balcony overlooking the market which happens twice a week. I was looking for a warm, friendly and local experience, and I certainly got that. I can highly recommend staying with Dararat, and when I go back one day, I will stay with her and her lovely family again.
