Gde was great to stay with! The accommodation was beautiful! Doesn’t get more authentic than staying a family home with gorgeous hand carved wood and stone! You are in the heart of a Balinese community so you get to see the comings and goings of everyday life. The compound where you are staying has many animals including a, chickens/roosters, birds cows and a friendly dog! There is lots of agriculture as well including flower, rice and sweet potato crops. You are super close to a beach and waterfall as well as the Gianyar night market, featuring tons of local food! Gde was also more than happy to drive us around to see more of the sights and rich culture that Bali has to offer. He speaks great English and made sure we made the most of our time there.
