I live on a lovely small farm, a short drive from two country towns. My partner lives in one of these towns. It's a great place to visit because we live in the country, but are close enough (drive 7 kilometres) to shops, drive one hour to the sea ( Phillip Island) , or 1 hour back to the city of Melbourne. The bush and farms are all around us.
My house is warm , ( heated concrete slab, air conditioned, double glazed and quiet) with a spare large private guests room at the far end of the house. My orchard is usually dripping with fruit! And the cows might moo hello!
We live on a plentiful supply of pure tank water. I also have the luxury of using a wood fired stove and fireplace if desired. Otherwise,we are all electric. ( 4.5 kW solar panels ; grid connected) wifi available.Sustainability is a passion of mine - but so is being comfortable.
Very self sufficient!
Additional Info
We have a gravity fed water system. .....and lots of it!
