Welcome to Australia!
My name is Tamsin, I am 45, working as a Family Therapist (Counsellor), Social Worker, and also teach at Melbourne University. My daughter Jennara is 9years, and we have a cat Lion.
I love cross-cultural sharing, and like to provide a welcoming home environment.
We have a furnished room available, with a separate bathroom for our guest. We live in Greensborough, in walking distance of bus and train, and close to shops, and leisure centre (pool and gym).
I love cooking, gardening, walking, reading, and we have a piano in our home. There is also a trampoline for enthusiasts!
We love to take our guests on outings, and welcome guests into our extended family and friendships. We also respect privacy and independence too!
I have enjoyed sharing a home over the past 20 years with many international visitors, and love the cross-cultural sharing that opens up our learning, enjoyment, and enriches us.

House Rules
We enjoy a shared and welcoming home environment. We like quiet evenings, as there is a child in the home, and I am studying a Post Graduate degree. We welcome guests to invite their friends, with prior negotiation and agreement. I prefer everyone to assist with keeping the household tidy and clean. Guests are welcome to use the laundry, and also kitchen.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
