Large family home near Blackmans Bay Beach, 15 minutes south of Hobart. Our family lives in a 2 storey home with our 2 boys, 11 and 8. Guest accommodation is provided on the lower level of our home (we live upstairs) and consists of a large studio space with queen bed and single bed, dining table and sitting area and adjoining lounge room with LCD TV. The accommodation also includes a kitchenette and laundry and private ensuite (shower and laundry is shared). The accommodation opens out onto a large garden with outdoor seating with amazing water views out to the Iron Pot and beyond. Blackmans Bay Beach is very safe and there are quality restaurants, bars and cafes nearby.
We live in a quiet and leafy neighbourhood. Our home is large and is less than 10 years old and constructed of red brick and a tile roof. It consists of 5 bedrooms in total, 3 bathrooms, spacious lounge room and family room, a well equipped kitchen and dining room. We have a sunny BBQ deck and a big garden.

About the Area
Our house is located in Blackmans Bay, 15 minutes south of Hobart. We are 18km from the city centre and only 25 minutes from the airport. Buses are nearby, however you will find it easier to get around if you have your own car. You can hire a car from Hobart Airport.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
