About the Area
Located South of the Yarra River - the beautiful leafy "Garden Precint" of South Yarra is only 4kms to the central CBD or 25kms from the Airport.
Beautiful Fawkner Park is directly opposite (with tennis courts & ovals) and its only 5 mins walk to the Botanic Gardens (for those who want to go for a run or a walk around the famous "tan").
We are surrounded by fabulous cafes and restaurants catering to all tastes, budgets and occasions.
Popular due to its very easy to walk to major sporting events and grounds (MCG, Rod Laver & Hisense Arenas, AAMI Park, Albert Park, MSAC etc) as well as famous Chapel St with the best of Melbourne Shopping including Prahran Market (Melbourne’s oldest market!) to sample some of the local specialties, cheeses, coffee, meats and seafood's, fruit and veg and more!
Getting around is easy as The No 8 Tram stops at the door to go into the CBD (15 mins via National Art Gallery, Arts Centre, Southbank) or the other direction to Toorak Village (5 mins).
Alternatively you can walk 5 mins to South Yarra train station - the central CBD is only 2 train stops away.
If you have a car then I can provide a visitors parking permit. Avis & Hertz car hire within 5 mins walk.
Or if Bike riding is your thing then the Melbourne City Bike Share have a Stand 7mins walk away where you can get bikes from only $8.00 per week (incl helmet)!

House Rules
Must be Cat Tolerant (Mr B wont bother you as he hangs out in my room - or by my side when I am home).
Please treat my home like your home, however if you can let me know prior if you need Fridge space, cooking facilities or use of the washing machine.
I prefer no guests visitors inside and ask that you please pick up after yourself and keep the communal areas tidy.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
