Our property is located in Miranda. Close to shops, transport and the beach. The cottage is situated away from the main house and has its own private entry. Its fully self contained so you can enjoy your privacy or if you feel like company we live in the main house so always welcome for a chat.

About the Area
We live in a family friendly area. Short 10min walk to Westfield Miranda and the train line that takes you Sydney city 40min or Cronulla Beach 10 min. Or you could experience the bike track that goes to Cronulla or Bright Le Sands.
Some great parks for the kids and even indoor play centres. Not far from Ramsgate Organic Markets that are on every Saturday. If you are a foodie or a coffee lover I have some very tasteful recommendations!! Come and enjoy the Shire

Lovely welcome and stay ag Mike and Jodi's. Separate studio was very handy to the supermarket and local pub for dinner. Thanks for the dinner vouchers Jodi! Nice spacious studio with good bathroom. Thank you again.

We stayed at the Shire's Cottage for 6 nights and had a fabulous time. Jodi and her family were very welcoming and the Cottage was ideal for 2 people with all necessary facilities - comfy bed, great shower, kitchen, tv, internet access and breakfast items. It was very clean, neat and tidy and we would recommend to anyone looking for an economical and friendly place to stay in the area.

The cottage was spotless, it felt like home away from home. It was warm and inviting on the cold winter days when i stayed there. Although I didn't get to meet Jodi as i was out on a course, she was very responsive to messages and needs. She ensured the were little extra touches like a welcome sign and breakfast options when you arrive. It was the perfect place to stay. I highly recommend this place.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
