Great family with stylish modern house. We both work in professional field, and one 15 year old daughter. We are from Taiwan and would love to share our culture while learning other cultures as well.
We love to help out international students, as i was an international student in Australia about 20 years ago, we find it's very rewarding to make oversea students to feel like home in Australia, we always take good care of our homestay students, and cook nice meals for them, especially the Asian cuisine.

About the Area
Our house is located 17 klm from the city center. It's in a safe & upmarket suburb. Beautiful parks & walk/ bikeways around this area. Close to Eight Mile Plains main bus station, a trip into the Brisbane city taking just 15-20 minutes. This is a lovely area & close to Westfield Garden city shopping centre.
Garden City shopping town has a variety of retail shops,post office, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, library, movie cinema, gyms & more.......

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
We are a very tidy and clean family. We expected our students keep their room tidy and clean too.
Smoking is not allowed, alcoholic drinks / Party are not allowed. Friends are not allowed. Drugs (in any form) is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED. Food and Drinks (except drinking water) are not allowed in the bedroom. Student/ Guest is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their room, toilet and shower room.
Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. Treat us as you would like to be treated is a good rule of thumb .. :-)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
