Retired hotel owners (Mother and Son) have created brand new private living spaces that feature all the luxuries of a fine hotel. Our freshly renovated home is perfectly located in the heart of Hervey Bay’s tourist precinct only 50m from the esplanade water front, beach, restaurants and shops. Our bedrooms feature a queen bed complimented by luxurious Egyptian cotton linen, modern ensuite bathroom, full air-conditioning, ioniser air purifier, mirror, personal fridge, tv, wifi and seating area.
Our continental breakfast is famous in Hervey Bay and includes some surprises with freshly baked, organic, home made bread (thanks Mum), seasonal fresh fruit platter and orange juice, a huge selection of jams and condiments, cereals, endless barrister coffee and tea.

House Rules
Guest checkin is between 2pm and 7pm. Please let us know your expected time of arrival (ETA) to ensure we are home. If you are delayed please message us. We do not permit late check-ins beyond 7:00pm unless agreed in advance.
Internet Usage: Our Wifi internet is complementary. Unfortunately it is not the fastest due to our distance from the telephone exchange. With this in mind, please do not conduct any file uploads, torrents, p2p or similar as our speed rate drops severely and disadvantages all other wifi users.
Quiet time after 10pm: To ensure a peaceful sleep and the quiet enjoyment of all our guests (including ourselves downstairs), we maintain a 10:00 pm curfew. Everyone is settled in for the night by this time with the security system active.
Guest Room Privacy: All of our guests rooms are private and must not be entered. Please keep your bedroom door closed at all times not only for privacy but, to ensure the air-conditioning is not going to waste. Please lock your door if you are going out exploring.
Shared Facilities: We have three MisterBandB guest rooms available and on occasion, we are hosting three groups of guests in their own private bedrooms. In this situation, the kitchen, living space and bathroom is shared with other guests. Please respect other guests privacy and leave the kitchen and other facilities neat and tidy at all times.
Private Facilities: The downstairs is our private home and is not available to guests.
Smoking: is permitted out doors only on the balcony or in the garden. Please be respectful to not allow 2nd hand smoke to disturb other non smoking guests.
Home Security: For peace of mind, our security camera system is armed in all common and outdoor areas during the night and day. Strangers are not permitted to be in our home, only registered MisterBandB guests.
Check out: Room check-out time is 12:00pm (noon). If you have a late departing bus or flight and wish to leave your baggage, we can store them for you until your Hervey Bay departure.
House Keeping: If you are planning to go exploring. We like to clean the bathroom and common areas between 11:00 - 1:00pm.
Medical Emergencies: If you have a medical emergency please let us know immediately. Scott has St Johns ambulance basic training and a first aid kit. We can also organise a home visit doctor or ambulance.

Our experience with Scott was amazing from start to finish!
We booked very last minute and Scott's communication was impecable. We were warmly welcomed to his beautiful home upon arrival and thuroughly enjoyed our stay. Perks of the stay were the amazing bed and hearty breakfast on a beautiful covered balcony, which was ideal on a rainy afternoon.
We would highly reccomend a stay with Scott as the house is steps from the bus stop and walking dinstance to many great restaurants and bars. Many thanks to Scott and "Mum", for our great stay in Hervey Bay.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
