Kelly is a courteous host and the granny flat has its own kitchenette, bathroom, and three furnished bedrooms that are each pretty spacious. Inside, things are tidy and simple. A portable electric cooktop and some other basic kitchenware are provided. She also hires cleaners to come every two weeks which helps keep it clean. Her children are very respectful and her dogs love getting some pets and attention.
However, be aware that there is very limited Wi-Fi, if any, in the flat. This wouldn’t be as big of an issue if there was cell service, which is practically nonexistent inside. Things like checking your email and making calls are very difficult.
The location is not great without a car—look into public transit options and your commute from Matraville. It’s pretty residential and not super dense or walkable.
Also, there is no AC, which can get frustrating in the summer heat. You will have to get used to avoiding the dog poop when entering and exiting the house everyday and cockroaches in the flat at night. No need for an alarm clock because the chickens will wake you up every morning without fail.
If you like to be quiet and a bit outside of the city this is a good place for you. Kelly family are respectful and friendly. Thanks for the stay :)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
