Michael is 74 and Ulla 68. We speak English, German, French, Swahili, Greek and Hebrew. We do enjoy cinema, reading, traveling, learning languages, gardening, nature and concerts.

I had an amazing time at Ulla and Michel's place. They gave me a ride to and from the airport as well as a few times in and out of town. I've stayed at a few places throughout Australia, but this was the cleanest and most cozy one. Ulla welcomed me to eat from her kitchen so I didn't have to go out to buy dinner. The place is right by the shot tower and there are amazing views. Ulla has her own garden and chicken so there are fresh eggs and vegetables. I had a great stay and think it's a really great deal for all that you get. The bus is right outside the door and only 20 minutes to Hobart CBD. The bus runs everyday so it's very convenient.

My stay at Ullas and Michaels house was great!
The house is out of town in a beautiful landscape. You can walk a beautiful trail to Kingston - it takes ca. 1 hour.
If you want to go by bus to Kingston or Hobart, the bus stops are almost in front of the house. It takes ca. 30min to Hobart City Centre.
For exploring Hobarts nightlife it is recomended to take a taxi back at night because there are no nightbuses.Ulla and Michael are very polite and friendly. They help you a lot if you have any questions or problems.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
