About the Area
Our house is East of Bridgetown, it is in a residentail neighbourhood. 15 mins from the airport and 5 min drive from the beach. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the house.

Staying with Diane was an absolute pleasure. She met me at the airport to pick me up which is
massive bonus when you first arrive in a new country.
My room was large and airy and comfy. Even though my needs are probably fairly
modest, as far as I am concerned, Diane was an attentive and great host, so
perhaps I might be able to stay again, and I would highly reccommend her as a host.

Diane and her family were absolutely incredible hosts. They have a lovely orchard in their backyard and I learned a lot about local fruits and got to eat amazing local foods. They had a little get together and I had a really nice time playing local party games. The room was clean, quaint, and comfortable. Highly highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience!! Excellent stay with a pleasant, friendly and service oriented host!! Nice big, light room. The fact that she picks you up from the airport upon arrival, drops you back and on top offers a home cooked warm meal and breakfast in the morning makes the deal a very good value compared to the expensive hotels in Barbados. The house is only 10 min away by car, so that makes the stay a very wise choice especially for short stays / stopovers / transit while your connecting flight is the next day or if you want to be close to the airport on the day you arrive or leave.

Clean, very homely, it was a nice greeting to the island from the family, and very accommodating, being picked up and dropped off at the airport was nice, but Diane was also willing to come back and pick me up when the airline cancelled my flight, having some home cooked food is good too.
Overall my stay was an overnight stopover definitely made more pleasurable by staying at Diane's, would have loved to stay longer and see more of the island, maybe next time when my stay is not so short.Host reply

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
