We live in a quiet road in a wonderful neighborhood in the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro called Barra da Tijuca. We are two blocks from the beach. Close to the newest metro station, surf classes, lots of malls, vibrant nightlife, good for young people. Unlike places like Copacabana and downtown, this area is very safe and friendly.

House Rules
free wi-fi use and cable tv in the room. This is a no smoking place. We have a small dog (female) but she won't get any close to your room if you don't feel like. You can have breakfast in the porch enjoying the wonderful view of Pedra da Gavea. You have lots of restaurants around but we don't mind if you go cheaper and order food or need to borrow space from our fridge (we have a side-by-side). If you go to the beach, you need to use the sower in the garage to get rid of the sand before go inside the apartment. If you forget your sun protector, feel free to ask for some. You will surely need! Enjoy your stay with us. We will be glad to pick you up at the airport for a reasonable fare, much less than a taxi would cost you. Feel free to ask!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
