Dépaysement assurė pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir " the Cambodian way of life!
Bun and all the family were wonderful hosts. We felt like we were family. It’s better what we expected and were looking for : meeting people, live with a family, and share moments and experiences at meal times.
Bun is very helpful for visiting the temples. He provided us with a guide and tuk tuk driver who were very available. Bun is a good man, making a lot for the children, teaching them english. Also I have great memories of the soccer game with the children. Very fun !!
We recommand to stay in the house, to all the people who want to stay in a peaceful place near siem reap and to meet people.

100% recommend staying here! Bun and his family are super welcoming and friendly. They picked us up from the airport, arranged a taxi to drive us around Angkor Wat for the day and even booked our overnight bus to Phnom Penh for us! We had such a great time staying here we wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back ❤️ Thank you for having us
Mr Bunyong and his family welcomed me like family! Anyone looking to get a real taste of proper Khmer hospitality should spend a week with them. Warm hearted people, they made my stay truly unforgettable. The room was cosy and clean and their home's located in a very quite suburban area near Siem Reap, so perfect if you wish to stay off the chaos of town. Icing on the cake's Mr Champion, who's always smiling and is going to take you where you need with his Tuk Tuk. Bless them!!
We knew from the moment we were welcomed with big smiles and open arms that choosing Bun’s homestay was the best decision we could’ve made for Cambodia. Bun and his crew ensured everything went smoothly and effortlessly, treated us like family, and provided opportunities for unique and unforgettable experiences.
With Bun’s knowledge and background, our daily tours exceeded any expectations we could’ve imagined. With the entire crew and family’s love and compassion, the accommodation couldn’t have felt more heart warming. As the last leg of our trip, we simply couldn’t have asked for a better place to wrap up three weeks of travel.
Not to mention, the stories/life lessons from Bun that had a major impact on our personal growth as young travelers will stick with us forever. Safe to say, we are already planning on returning... thanks to Bun and his crew! [Angkor] WAAAT an experience! Much love from M and B!
¡y no te arrepentirás!
My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of wrapping up our 2 week SE Asia holiday by staying with Bun and his family for a few nights. Our time in Siem Reap was limited and we wanted to spend some good time with knowledgeable locals to explore Angkor Wat and area...and we got exactly that! From the first message sent to the sweet goodbye kisses we received from Bun's daughter at the airport when he dropped us off, Bun was incredibly helpful and accomodating. He arranged as much or as little as we needed by way of transports, meals, and guides for temple. I cannot speak highly enough of our guide, Than, and his thorough and thoughtful approach to teaching us about the history of Angkor Wat complex during our two day exploration. Our fantastic transport was provided by another friend Buffalo - his van and A/C were heaven on earth between temples and they were a well orchestrated team that navigated the throng of tourists such that we didn't feel like we were one of them. Our room was simple, clean, and comfortable and the homestead atmosphere was welcoming and laid back. Excellent food and lively dinners with other travellers and school kids/family made us feel like part of the fold...all in all a fantastic experience that went by too quickly. Bun and his clan welcomed us with open hearts and genuine interest and I look forward to spending more time with them again!!
We enjoyed Bunyong's home and family. His knowledge of the various temple history is extraordinary revealing insights that bring the temples alive. Wonderful efforts to support his local community through sharing guide work and encouraging others to become Homestay providers. Developing a school on site gives the local village children a chance to learn which otherwise might not be available. Highly recommend this stay if you want to be "off the main hotel road" and understand real Cambodian life seeing the back streets. Lester and Brenda from Australia.
If you want to know what real Cambodia and real love for fellow beings is, don't miss this special opportunity to stay with Bunyong family! from the moment his smiling driver greeted us at the airport, we knew we made the right decision to visit Cambodia this way. Dinners, kids in the front yard laughing or dancing, local friends to guide us in the best possible ways to view anything in the area....hope to come back soon and longer to this special place. Thank you to all who welcomed us as family and kept a little piece of our hearts, Mr. B....until we meet again XXOO
