We live in a cul de sac and have bus stops just up the street. Just off Austin Ave- which has lots of food options- Tim Hortons, MenEds, La Foret, Mcdonalds just to name a few. There is also a Safeway-grocery store.
10 minute bus ride to Lougheed skytrain. That is 3 stops away from Douglas College in New Wesminster.

Maria and John are lovely hosts! I felt like a family member from the moment I walked into their home. They made me feel comfortable, we would chat in the evenings and Maria prepared breakfast every morning. I could not imagine a better start off in Canada. Thank you so much for having me! I miss you already

I felt welcome and taken care of the whole time. I had everything I needed and Maria would go to great lengths to make me feel more at home.

Maria and Bill are kind and caring people. On my arrival, Maria explained everything to make my stay at her house a pleasant one. She also showed me her list of all the places to see and eat nearby, etc. A very nice stop for me before continuing my journey. Thank you both so much!!!

Maria and John were perfect hosts. Maria always makes sure you don't miss anything and helps you find great places to visit. They are very welcoming but also respect your privacy. The house is very clean, and the room is really spacious. I sincerely recommend these hosts and I hope to see them again!

My stay with Maria and John was absolutely wonderful. They made me feel like part of the family and were always ready to chat and help. They are incredibly kind and fun. Vanessa and her children are so loving, and I really enjoyed spending time with them.
The house was always clean and tidy, and everything I needed was readily available. neighborhood is also very lovely and pleasant for walking and exploring. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly!

Maria and John were lovely and welcoming. I felt very comfortable and was pleasantly surprised by extra snacks given to me during the stay. The place was kept very clean and Maria helped me with extra bits such as with post, shopping and any recommendations about the area and Vancouver. I really appreciate all their help and how they made me feel like I was at home. The room was kept very well and easy to store any clothes and extra bits. Breakfast was lovely and the facilities were great! Thank you to Maria, John and Vanessa for all your help and kindness!

Maria and John are the best! I had an absolutely wonderful stay at their place! They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They were always available for a friendly chat, yet also gave me plenty of privacy, striking the perfect balance. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying with them to anyone. Thank you, Maria and John, for making my stay so enjoyable!

John and maria were really nice , friendly and welcomed me with lots of love and warm heart. Best place! I have been in a long time, they do make a milestone marker for anyone to achieve. I loved the privacy they gave me and respected my space while making sure, that I felt home even when far from home. I would highly recommend my friends and family to them anytime, and this will be a second home for me in vancouver anytime I come up here. Thanks maria and john, for making this great and safe for me and wife.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
