Our cozy suite is just waiting for you to enjoy! $1300CAD/month includes both bedrooms, as we will only rent to one booking at a time (ideal for 2 people sharing the suite!) Airy and bright (but featuring black-out blinds in the bedrooms!) this is the perfect home base! You will be located in West Edmonton just minutes from the famous West Edmonton Mall for all your shopping excursions, Rogers Place to enjoy Canada's favourite sport - hockey!, and the river valley trail network to go for walks or bike rides along the river and through lush inner-city forests! Just 5 minutes from the major shopping centres on 170 St, you’ll be able to find all you need for your stay! If you're here in the summer, you’re across the street from a public outdoor pool + 45 minutes to the beautiful Wabamun Lake beaches! There's also a bus stop at the end of the street for you to use city transit if you'd like.
You will be staying in one of the two bedrooms in our fully-furnished, newly renovated basement suite with a private side entrance. Both bedrooms have a Queen size bed! In the suite there is also a laundry machine and dryer, a full kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a full bathroom, dining area and living room with a TV!
My wife and I and our son live in the main house and are very much looking forward to meeting you! We have done quite a bit of travelling and enjoy learning about culture, language and food! When you arrive, you will notice that much of the art on the walls is from our travels around the world! We love to cook and bake, go for bike rides and walks, downhill and cross-country ski, and enjoy meals with new and longtime friends!

About the Area
Our house is located in the west side of the city in a quiet neighbourhood. We are 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from the famous West Edmonton Mall, 5 minutes from the River Valley trail network and just 7 minutes to the shops on 124 Street including the world-class Duchess Bake Shop.
The bus stop is just a 4 minute walk from the house and there are a few bus options using this stop.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
- Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house or on the property. You may smoke/vape on the city sidewalk in front of the house, but not on the side entry steps, in the front yard or the backyard
- No drug use on the property
- No footwear worn inside the suite. You can place shoes at the top of the stairs.
- No food/eating in the beds
- No pets without approval and paying the fee. Failure to follow this rule will result in double charges for damages
- The full kitchen in the suite is yours to make your own meals but please clean up after yourself!
- Quiet hours are from 9pm until 7am
- Guests can pay by cash or e-transfer on arrival

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
