A garden with barbecue and a heated pool are at your disposal. 30 minutes from Montreal and Mirabel Airport (18 km), close to public transportation and shopping centers. (bus 73-74 and 31 direction metro Cartier) or (45 direction metro Montmorency).

I had such a good experience with this family. I came here with the intention of improving my french fluency and they helped me with it. They will always come to my room to talk to me which made me happy

Belle découverte du canada et séjour très positif a Laval chez Suze, hôte très sérieuse, disponible et attentionnée . Logement propre et spacieux. Je recommande.

The setting was private and cozy as described. Each guest has own bedroom space, bathroom and other area are shared with 2 other guests. I had the entire place to myself. There is also own entrance and exit so you would not be disturbing the host if its late. The area is quiet, lovely and peaceful. I warmed up to Laval inspite of the cold weather(smiles).
Transportation runs very frequently and the options to Cartier Station were good....#17,31,73 or 74 pick anyone and you would be good both ways. N.B: for those who might not know the area you will need to pay 2 different transits fare the laval (STL)and montreal (STM) system...that's if you visit montreal like I did. The cost was 3.25 +3.25= 6.50 one way. I purchased the OPUS card and added both fares for ease of access. You can pay cash on the laval bus.
Enjoy Laval and this homestay....didn't get to try the pool...it was cooold. Next time.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
