Our family lives in a five bedroom house in North Beacon Hill, Ottawa. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, in close location to a bus stop and a 20 min. ride straight to downtown, Ottawa. I live with my two children, my teenage daughter and younger son.
Our house is a split level, detached, with 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a comfortable kitchen that connects into the dining room. We have a furnished sun room with its own bathroom, that leads into a large, fully fenced background that is perfect for summer BBQ's.
There are many schools in the surrounding area, from elementary all the way up to high school. (Colonel By Secondary School, which is only ten minutes away from our house, is rated as the second best in Ontario). We are a pet and smoking free house!

About the Area
Our home is located in the quiet and safe urban area of North Beacon Hill, Ottawa. It is a well established area with many schools in the district. The closest bus stop is a 5 min. walk away from our house, with routes that will take you straight to downtown in 20. min, or a bus station that connects to all across Ottawa.

Please do not invite strangers into our home; we are always open to you bringing a friend over, but just make sure to run it by me first.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
