This is a 3-year old Cardel Home located at the Blackstone area in Kanata. We are surrounded by new homes built by Cardel and Mattamy. We have a finished basement with a room, bathroom and a living room and this is what we have for rent. There are 3 bedrooms in the second floor and 3 bathrooms. We have a fenced garden in the backyard. We are near the park and the bus stop is just 10 min away by foot from home. We are Catholics, we love to cook Asian food specifically Chinese and Filipino. There are only 3 members of the family, one is a student of the University of Toronto. We speak Filipino, English and Mandarin. I am a retired Physician from the Philippines and Taiwan and my wife who is a Physician as well continues to work as a Medical Assistant at a Walk-In Clinic in Ottawa.

About the Area
Our house is located in the Blackstone area, a new developing housing district with mostly new houses all over, also located near Walmart and Canadian Superstore. A public bus stop is within about 10 minutes walk; Subway, pizza parlors, other restaurants are within walking distances as well as banks, hair salons, etc...

No bringing of guests allowed unless with permission.
Must reveal presence of any communicable diseases during stay.
Once a week laundry after 7pm or when given special permission.

Room cleaning daily unless requested by tenant otherwise.

We stayed with Ronald and Rosanne for a night and it was a very pleasant experience. They are a wonderful couple and great hosts. They went out of the way by putting up an air bed for our "little - big" daughter to accommodate our request of having her to sleep separately. :)
They have a lovely home. They also did set up things very well to make us comfortable when when they were not home. (Like leaving thoughtful small notes to help us find anything, they thought, we might need!)
Most importantly the house was very clean and tidy!
P.S. I also have pictures with the wonderful hosts and of the pretty house but don't know where to upload them!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
