A quiet townhome on a safe and peaceful dead end street. This little oasis backs onto a treed area, path and ponds. A birdwatcher’s and sunset lover’s dream. This is one of three bedrooms. There is a fully updated shared bathroom and a shared powder room.
Bus access to downtown Ottawa and the capital region is steps away. This home is in the suburban neighbourhood of Emerald Meadows in Kanata South and is 20 minutes from Ottawa International Airport by car. I regularly see white egrets and blue herons in the summer months, along with otters, foxes, porcupines, deer and bunnies on my walks. Bunnies, squirrels and many smaller birds frequent the backyard. Robins nest in the yard every spring. The sunsets are stunning! Enjoy views of the trees, sky and ponds from the master bedroom. Relax on the large deck and enjoy the fireflies in the evenings.

This beautiful townhome has room for 7 guests, with three bedrooms and a pull out bed in the tv room on the lower level. I can rent one room when I am here on occasion. Please reach out for details.

First of all, I hope to welcome you if it's a good fit! :)
Eating in the kitchen/main floor area only please. Guests must remain in the kitchen while they are cooking and clean up after.
I prefer that guests do not come in during the overnight hours so that the house remains quiet for those sleeping and working early.
No additional pets, please. Theres is a small Morkie dog that is sometimes at the house.
No smoking and guests only if approved by the host.
Overall, we are very chill and relaxed. We enjoy getting to know guests if they would like that.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
