As your host family, we will provide you with so much more...than just board and lodging, as we’re committed to giving you that feeling of being in “a home away from home” atmosphere and a wholesome environment—a warm and caring place so to speak!
Also, as we cater to your needs, we would like to make your “homestay” with us as one happy, good memorable life experience not only while here in Canada, but even when you’re back to your home country...and could tell your family and friends about our Canadian way of life, culture and of course...our hospitality.
While here with us, you will reside in a private room, which is furnished with single, separate bed, a small dresser and closet space; maybe...sharing with one more international student like yourself.
Our laundry machine is available to suit your laundry needs, while our family dining room will serve as you’re dining area, as well; sharing and enjoying the food we prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other meals, snacks, “special” juices, such as fruits and others drinks are “negotiable”, if and when requested.

Finally, we only expect “few minor things” in return (outside your homestay fee), i.e., mutual respect and courtesy must be observed at all times and your “minor participation” to help such as in tidying your room and with some other “small chores” around the house, as any other family member will always do, is highly appreciated.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
