Our home is a detached home with 3 floors, 7 bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms, and 1 private bathroom. We are 1 minute's walk to the nearest school and restaurant and about an 8-minute bus ride to the mall. We love watching movies, staying outdoors ( if the weather permit), and exploring the city or town. My husband loves to play basketball and take photos. I and my kids love to cook and bake and my mom in law loves to cook.

About the Area
Our house is located close to Tynehead Regional Park. The bus stop is a minute's walk from the house and the mall is an 8-minute bus ride from our house. Very convenient.

General House rules:
* Complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, creamer, and sugar is available at the pantry. Please feel free to use it.
House Rules:
* Please respect other's privacy (do not go inside the room unless invited or knock on the door)
* No loud noises or music, please
* No smoking within the premises and absolutely no drug use
* No alcohol
* No pets allowed
* No visitors allowed
* No sleepover in the house.
* The front door must always be kept locked.
* Do not share home passwords with other people for safety and security purposes.
* Turn lights off when not in use.
* Please keep doors closed.
* Please leave outside shoes by the door. You may use flip-flops inside the house.
* Please take the garbage out of your room if full. Dispose of it properly in the garbage bin outside the house.
Separate the recycling, organic, and garbage. Replace the garbage bag. (provided in each bin)
Strictly NO FOOD allowed in the room. We will provide a cabinet for your snacks and a space in the fridge if you need it. Please let us know. Please make sure you keep your room clean.
Kitchen:
No cooking allowed.
Please wash your own dishes (we will provide your set of dishes)
Please wipe the counter after each use.
Bathroom:
* The hand towel provided in the bathroom is for hand use only.
* Please do not throw anything in the toilet. Throw it in the garbage bin.
* Make sure to keep the bathroom clean after each use.
* Please turn the exhaust fan on if needed.
* Please ensure the bathroom door is kept closed.
* Please use the squeegee provided after showering.
* You are sharing the bathroom with others so please do not take too long time inside the bathroom.
* We do not provide, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, etc.
Laundry:
Once a week (please follow the schedule)
If you want a different time, please let us know in advance.
We do not provide laundry soap or softener. We’ll be happy to assist you in purchasing one at a local department store.

Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
