I am an easy going retiree willing to open up my home to guests who'd like to live in a comfortable arrangement on the Surrey / Langley border of British Columbia. I live within transit distance of both the Langley and Cloverdale and Surrey locations of Kwantlen University, Trinity Western University and The Surrey Central location of Simon Fraser University.
I have two bedrooms available for rent with computer tables, chairs, book cases; anything a student would require. Students would be free to use my kitchen to prepare meals as they see fit, I would be willing to cook if requested and cost would be negotiable. Students would have full access to my washer and dryer to ease living. I have two parking spaces available for use if the student has a vehicle but if not I live within walking distance to a main transit line.
I have two cats that live with me so I would prefer someone who doesn't mind animals. The two rooms I have for rent, both rooms will be available in the beginning of January 2014 and students are welcome to stay as long as they require. If necessary I could pick up students from the airport and drop them off if required

Quiet living condition perfect for students who require calm study time. Transit is a five minute walk from the front door.

Meals

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
